Admission requirements


You have started a career in the luxury industry or wish to transition your career into the luxury industry. The MBA in International Luxury Brand Management of Essec will help you achieve your goals.

Admission Criteria



Candidates for the MBA program are required to:

     • Hold a University degree of at least a Bachelor’s or a Master’s level. Exceptionally candidates who do not have a University degree but have a relevant working experience at a senior level could be considered.

     • Have at least three years working experience,

     • Be fluent in English

     • Have taken the GMAT test
All applicants with no exception have to take the GMAT. We strongly recommend that you allow yourself enough time to get prepared for the GMAT. Scores should be submitted no later than December 31st or March 31st according to the admission session chosen. Scores over 2 years old are not valid. Information and registration materials can be obtained by writing to the following address : Educational Testing Services, P.O. Box 6151, Princeton, NJ 08541-6151, USA. We also advise you to contact local test centers, the American Embassy, Consulate or US Information Service in your country of residence. We do request a 550 score minimum for the GMAT. Our MBA code is X6R-FV-52.

     • Have taken the TOEFL, IELTS, if necessary
TOEFL requirement is waived for native English speakers, or for candidates who have completed three or more years of higher education at an English language university or college. We do request a 100 IBT score minimum for the TOEFL. IELTS: we do request a score of 6.5. - One or two page resume or curriculum vitae,
- All official transcripts of grades obtained at each of the colleges or universities attended. If the original is not in English or in French then you should provide a certified translation in one of those languages.
- Original or certified copies of all degrees or diplomas. If the original is not in English or in French then you should provide a certified translation in one of those languages.
- Original TOEFL sent by ETS,
- Original GMAT scores sent by ETS,
- Three recent identity photographs of good quality, portrait size (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
